Mark B. Garrison specializes in the art and archaeology of the Achaemenid Perisan empire. His research focuses on the glyptic imagery preserved in a large archive of sealed administrative documents from Persepolis, known today as the Persepolis Fortification archive. His most recent articles have concerned religious imagery in Achaemenid art at the time of Darius.
